Singer and Performer Headshot Photography Session.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot some headshots for busy Melbourne based singer and performer Bethan Ellsmore. Bethan regularly travels up and down the east coast of Australia and internationally with various performance/cabaret groups.

With a brief window in Bethan's busy schedule she quickly stopped in at the studio to get some new headshots done. She wanted something conservative and business oriented for these portraits, so I put on my 'business headshot photographer' hat and set up a camera, (Canon 5D Mark III) and 3 soft lights.

I wanted to make Bethan's eyes sparkle and I was able to do this by combining the lights with a speedlite flash which made for a nice silhouette with the cherry blossoms behind her.

We enjoyed a cup of tea and a few laughs while we worked and the whole process was completed within an hour. The three photos below were retouched and delivered digitally to Bethan in full resolution within 24 hours.
